I have charted this tale across the Time of Legends series through to the Warhammer: End Times, at its centre the story of Aenarion’s benighted son Malekith. The story of the elves in Warhammer is built upon the legend of Aenarion the Phoenix King and the curse laid upon his line when he drew the Widowmaker, the sword of the Bloody-handed God Khaine.
Inheritor is a standalone tale that takes place during events portrayed in Betrayer, Vengeful Spirit and The Unremembered Empire. Honour to the Dead is a standalone tale, but fits with events portrayed in Know No Fear and Mark of Calth.
It also precedes events in Ashes of Prospero. The Thirteenth Wolf is a standalone tale, but takes place against the backdrop of the battles that rage in Prospero Burns and A Thousand Sons. The Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop miniature war game that is produced by Games Workshop and is set in a dystopian sci-fi universe. The Horus Heresy is a dark, far future, sci-fi war saga that takes place during the Horus Heresy, a cornerstone event of the dystopian science fantasy Warhammer 40,000 universe.
